Carl Marino is a 16-year-old self-taught software developer from Germany. In his free time, Carl enjoys programming, web design, music, photography and finance. Carl has been programming for almost half a decade, and has designed websites for about three years. His interest in music started with the clarinet, which he has played for eight years. In recent years, he began learning the saxophone and digital music composition.
Carl began taking photos approximately five years ago. Doing so has helped him to gain a deeper appreciation for the beauty of nature.
Finance and investing are areas of interest Carl started exploring at a very early age with the help of his father, but it wasn't until many years later that finance developed into a genuine interest and passion which he continues to learn more about.

For about five years, programming has been one of Carl's major interests. In those five years, Carl has gained extensive experience in Python, Rust, C#, JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Additionally, programming introduced Carl to Linux and the Linux command line, which eventually lead him to use it as his primary desktop operating system.
VIEW PROJECTSCarl's interest in music started at seven years old, when began to play the clarinet. This drove his passion for music and lead him to play in several school orchestras and performances over the years. Carl also plays the Saxophone and enjoys digital music composition and sound design using analogue synthesizers and DAWs.
LISTENPhotography has been an important part of Carl's life for the last 5 years. The majority of Carl's photography is of nature, architecture and how they relate to one another. Carl's photography has evolved over the years from simply taking photos to taking advantage of exposure, focal length, ISO, aperture and more to improve the quality of his photography.
